1. Introduction

Vaaniq ("we", "our", or "us") is a WhatsApp Business management platform operated by Tierce India Pvt Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at tierceindia.com ("Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register.

WhatsApp Business data: When you connect your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) via Meta Embedded Signup, we store your WABA ID, phone number ID, and access token required to send and receive WhatsApp messages on your behalf. We do not store your Facebook profile, social graph, or any personal Facebook data.

Conversation data: Messages sent and received through your connected WhatsApp Business number, contact phone numbers, and message metadata (status, timestamps).

Usage data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the platform for security and analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the Vaaniq platform
To send and receive WhatsApp messages on behalf of your business
To process broadcast campaigns you create
To operate chatbot automation flows you configure
To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity

4. Meta / WhatsApp API Integration

Vaaniq integrates with the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API. When you connect your WhatsApp Business Account through Meta Embedded Signup (a Meta-provided OAuth flow), we receive a system user access token scoped to:

whatsapp_business_management — to manage your WABA settings
whatsapp_business_messaging — to send and receive messages
business_management — to read your Meta Business account details

We do not request or receive your Facebook profile, friends list, email, or any other social graph permissions. Meta's own privacy policy governs data processed by their APIs: facebook.com/policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Conversation messages are retained for a minimum of 90 days and may be retained longer for business continuity purposes. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 9).

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage, HTTPS-only transport, hashed passwords (Argon2id), and HMAC-verified webhook signatures. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your personal data
Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

9. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings → Account Deletion (available to workspace admins). Deleting your account schedules your personal data — and, where you are an admin, your organization's WhatsApp data, contacts, and conversations — for permanent removal within 30 days. If your organization has other admins, they must each approve the deletion first. You, or any admin, can restore the account or organization at any time within that 30-day window by logging in. Anonymised analytics aggregates may be retained for statistical purposes, and financial/tax records (e.g. GST invoices) are retained as required by law.
