The status lifecycle
A message moves through Queued → Sent → Delivered → Read, or moves to Failed at any point along the way.

Read implies delivered
A message that's been read was necessarily delivered first, so your "delivered" count will always be equal to or higher than your "read" count — that's expected, not a sign of a problem.
